Heritage FamiliesHeritage recognises the need for children who are away from home to be able to spend their half term and sometimes longer holidays in a secure and comfortable environment. Heritage enjoys a solid working relationship with our families and most have looked after children from Heritage for many years. Heritage recognises your child needs to have a positive experience when staying with a Heritage Family. Many children and their parents establish bonds with Heritage and our families which continue into adult life. Our expectation is that Heritage Families will care for your child as they would for their own. Equally we would want your child to participate in Heritage Family life. This may include cinema trips, days out and barbeques. It may even involve everyone helping to wash the dishes after the evening meal. We aim to place your child with the same Heritage Family for each holiday period. If for whatever reason your child or the family do not feel the relationship is comfortable or your child’s needs change, we are always on hand to provide a more appropriate Heritage Family. Heritage Families are carefully selected and constantly monitored by Heritage. All the children we place with Heritage Families are done so in accordance with The Children Act 1989 and current UK Child Protection Legislation. Heritage is always happy to answer any questions or queries you may have. Please contact us on 01423 520126 or email info@heritage-education.co.uk for further information including the costs of the service we provide. |
